Claim.—A toy pistol for shooting arrows from its barrel, having in combination a slidable spring-controlled trigger and trigger block, a slidable guided retractable arrow ejection block apertured to receive the butt end of the arrow, a ribbed arrow. projections in the pistol to receive the ribs on said arrow, resilient means attached to said election block and anchored within the pistol for tensional retraction of the block by inserting the arrow thereagainst for releasing the block by said trigger, means to springably release the ejection block by trigger actuation for arrow ejection, and guide runners for said ejection block.
