1. A ceramic composition containing fly ash and tailing dam materials comprising approximately the following pre-igition analysis:
silica: 24-65%; ferric oxide: 4-35%; alumina:
10-29%; alkali (Na2O): 0.4-1.2%; balance:
impurities including gas forming materials evolved during firing: 11-30%, all percentages being percent by weight.

2. A ceramic composition containing fly ash and tailing dam materials comprising approximately the following pre-ignition analysis:
silica: 44.55; ferric oxide: 14.05; alumina:
20.68; alkali (Na2O): 0.77; balance: impurities including gas forming materials evolved during firing: 19.91, all parts being percent by weight.
