Fuel Economizer for Motor Cars (Patent No: 215009)

Description: Harding Rhode Asp, Westaskiwin, Alberta, Canada, 10th January, 1922. Filed 26th October, 1920. Receipt No. 337,534.

Claim.—1. A device for the purpose specified comprising in combination, a conduit having air inlet ports at one end, and a valve scat at the opposite end, means for connecting the conduit to a crank case, a valve on the seat, means for adjusting the position of the valve, a connecting conduit connected to the side of the first-mentioned conduit and leading to the inlet pipe.

2. A device for the purpose specified comprising in combination, a conduit having air inlet ports at one end, and a valve seat at the opposite end, means for connecting the conduit to a crank case, a valve on the seat, means for adjusting the position of the valve, a connecting conduit connected to the side of the first-mentioned conduit and leading to the air pipe of the carburetor, and means for screening the air passing through the second conduit.

3. A device of the character described comprising a conduit, means for connecting the lower part of the conduit to a crank case, a valve seat mounted in the conduit at one end, and air inlet ports connected to the conduit at the other end having a plurality of air inlet ports, a valve air inlet member, an outlet conduit.
