Claim.—1. A composition for reviving electric batteries consisting of sulphuric acid diluted to a predetermined strength and three ounces of sodium carbonate added to every gallon of the mixture.
2. The process of preparing an exciting solution for reviving electric batteries comprising diluting concentrated sulphuric acid with distilled water, making a solution of 1.3 specific gravity, stirring the mixture to render it uniform, adding three ounces of sodium carbonate to every gallon of mixture after the same has cooled, and stirring the mixture for at least thirty minutes after the addition of the salt.
