Description: George Waters Wood, Parkland, Alberta, Canada, 5th January, 1926. Filed 7th May, 1925. Serial No. 302,482.

Claim.—1. A step in the process of stereoscopically viewing pictures which comprises the placing or projecting of the two necessary pictures or images in the same plane with their corresponding points at least six inches apart, the viewing of such pictures through a viewing apparatus to blend or coalesce the two pictures as one, and the use of screens to shut off the view of one picture from each eye.

2. A step in the process of producing stereoscopic moving pictures which comprises the projecting of two separate but similar pictures on the screen, the use of a viewing apparatus to coalesce or blend the two pictures in the vision of the observer and the use of properly adjusted screens to shut off the view of one picture from each eye.

3. A step in the process of stereoscopically viewing moving pictures which comprises the projecting of two separate but similar pictures on the screen without overlapping for the purpose of producing stereoscopic effect or relief when the pictures are seen through a proper viewing device.
