Claim.—1. In a draft equalizing device, an evener, a pulley carrying member suitably connected to the evener, a pulley in said member, a draft bar, a chain operatively connected at one end to the draft bar and adapted to travel over and under the pulley on the evener, a double pulley member, one of which is adapted to engage with said chain, the loose end of the chain being anchored to the pulley carrying member of the evener, a second draft bar and a rod operatively connected thereto, a second chain connected to the other end of said rod and designed to travel over and under the other pulley of the double pulley member, a third draft bar, a rod operatively connected thereto, the other end of the second-mentioned rod being fixedly connected to the loose end of the second chain, and means for supporting said rods.

2. The device as claimed in claim 1, in which the means for supporting the rods comprise neck yokes, suspending chains connecting the neck yokes with said rods, and links connecting the rods to the chains, in turn connecting the second and third draft bars.

3. In a device of the character described and in combination a main evener, a plurality of draft bars, a pulley on the evener, a double pulley member, a chain anchored to the evener and to one of the draft bars and adapted intermediately to travel over the pulley and the double pulley, a second chain also traveling over the double pulley and rod connected at each end to draft bars.
