Description: I claim:-

1. A non-skid device as described, comprising a series of hingeably connected U-shaped members held in relative position by an exterior and interior flexible cable means.
2. A non-skid device as described, comprising a series of hingeably connected U-shaped members held in relative position by an exterior and interior flexible cable means, and adjustable locking means having a tapered aperture countersunk at the small end associated therewith.
3. A non-skid device as described, comprising a series of hingeably connected U-shaped members held in relative position by an exterior and interior flexible cable means and adjustable locking means having a tapered aperture countersunk at the small end associated therewith, and a series of corks disposes diagonally on the outer or wearing face of the said U-shaped members, spaced in suitable relation.
