1. A fish lure and hook assembly comprising in combination a bait element in the form of a simulated animal-organism, having an open-ended passageway extending therethrough, said passage-way traversing said bait element from the head end thereof to the after-part thereof, a hook strand extending freely through said passageway, said strand being in the form of a twin-laid-shankloop, a hook being secured to the end of said strand which emerges from said after-part opening, the opposite end of said strand being secured at a point on said bait element adjacent the head end opening of said, passageway, a swivelling-eye accessory freely slideable on said strand and a friction stop in the form of an apertured bead through which both lays pass freely, said accessory being confined to the stretch of said hook strand which is on the side of said head remote from said bait element.
