5 Claims.

1. In a resilient ball type valve for a faucet, an extrusive band around the approximate maximum dimensioned circle of the ball valve and forming an integral part thereof, as a means of retaining the ball valve rotatively within a suitably grooved stem cup of a faucet stem, and in removable association therewith, the said grooving being circular around the interior of the cup.

2. In a resilient ball type valve for a faucet, an extrusion band around the approximate maximum dimensioned circle of the ball valve and forming an integral part thereof, in combination with a stem cup interiorly grooved to receive and to removably retain said band, a portion of which said ball valve only being enclosed rotatively therewithin.

3. In a resilient ball type valve for a faucet, an indent grooved around the approximate maximum dimensioned circle of the ball valve, as a means of retaining the ball valve rotatively within a suitably flanged stem cup of a faucet stem, and in removable association therewithin the said flanging being circular around the interior of the cup.

5. In a resilient type ball valve for a faucet, means cooperating between the approximate maximum dimensioned circle of the ball valve and a stem cup associated therewith, whereby said ball valve is removably retained within this associated stem cup, and is freely rotatable therewithin about the axis thereof aligned coincident with the axis of the stem.
