Duncan John Campbell was born in St. Hilaire, Quebec in 1855. He remained in Eastern Canada until 1882 when a request by Lieutenant Colonel Irvine, Commissioner of the North West Mounted Police, brought him to Fort Macleod. - DR. ROULEAU HOUSE
This is the oldest building in the Mission district and one of a very few in Calgary pre-dating 1890.
