BARRON BUILDING Not only was the Barron Building the first major development in downtown Calgary since the Depression, but it is perhaps the single reason why Calgary, and not Edmonton, is the hub of the Alberta oil patch.

EXPERT CLEANERS The Expert Cleaners building is one of a very few examples of International Style architecture from the 1950s remaining in Edmonton.

FRANK MITCHELL'S MUSEUM Mitchell’s museum building is itself something of an artefact. It is the former home of Benjamin Sinclair Jr., who held the patent title on River Lot 10 of the Lobstick Settlement.
