Alliance

Category : Village

This village was named by Tom Edwards who had been charged with buying the right-of-way for the Canadian Northern Railway. He asked that the siding be named for his former hometown of Alliance, Ohio. The post office in the area, established in 1916, was originally known as "Galahad," but this post office was later moved and Alliance then received a new one. The village was incorporated 26 August, 1918.

Approximately 45 km north-west of Coronation.
