Abram Gates

The name for this gorge was applied by Dr. James Hector who writes in his journal dated 4 January 1858: "the river became hemmed in by lofty precipices of sandstone about 150 feet high which I called Abram's Gates after my guide."

Approximately 36 km south south-west of Drayton Valley.
