Anzac

Originally established as a point on the Alberta and Great Waterways Railway line in l917, the name is commemorative of World War I's Australia and New Zealand Army Corps. The Anzac post office operated here from 1955-1969. The first postmaster was G. Harrison.

Approximately 36 km south-east of Fort McMurray.
