Cherry Coulee

Originating out of the Blackfoot name, ami-onaskway, the name refers to the chokecherries that grow along the coulee. Cherry Coulee acts as the drainage ditch running from the eastern edge of the town of Bow Island, north-west into the South Saskatchewan River.

Runs north-west into South Saskatchewan River, approximately 57 km west of Medicine Hat.
