Blackspring Ridge
Category : Ridge | |
The descriptive term for this ridge in Blackfoot is sicehkiscon, translating to "black springwater" because the ground was black where the water emerged. The ridge, which extends in a north-south direction, was surveyed in 1883 by Magrath (see Magrath), and commands a fine view of the surrounding countryside. |
