Helm

This station was named in memory of a former Superintendent of Transportation in Calgary. Mr. John K. Helm joined the Canadian National Railway at Edmonton in 1936 as a Callboy, saw active service in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1941 to 1945, and rejoined CN after the war. He filled various positions in the Transportation Department in Edmonton, Edson, Hanna, and Jasper. He was appointed Superintendent in Calgary in 1963 and died in 1966. The station is at Mileage 15.5 on the Sheerness Subdivision serving an Alberta power plant.

Approximately 70 km east of Drumheller.
