To recycle something means to use it again. In Alberta we recycle things like glass, plastic, oil, metals, and paper just to name a few. Because we humans create a lot of garbage it is important that we recycle so we do not damage the environment by burying garbage underground or in the ocean. If you live in Alberta then you have probably seen a blue-box in your home. These blue-boxes are filled with things that can be recycled, and then set out on the sidewalk or alley to be picked up. Every little action helps, so do your part and put your pop cans in the recycle bin not the garbage can!
