Calgary City Council 1959


Seven members of Calgary City Council were sworn in after the 1959 election. Left to right, standing, are James L. Hannah, Paul Brecken, George Ho Lem, Mayor Harry Hays, Grant MacEwan, Bruce Watson, and P.N.R. Morrison. The oath was administered by City Clerk Carl Cummer. MacEwan was first selected to council in 1953.
