Beaver Ranch Creek

The Lawrence family used to live here in the early 1900s and the name comes from the presence of their ranch farmstead. When J.S. Galletly surveyed this area in 1913, he annotated the creek as Beaver Creek, noting a log outbuilding. According to Beaver Ranch residents this area used to be known as Mostos-Okamik a Cree name meaning "cow barn." (see also Lawrence River)

Flows south into Peace River approximately 90 km east south-east of High Level.
