Little Plume

This former locality was named for the South Peigan Indian Chief (Tom) Little Plume. Born in Brocket in 1889, Tom served overseas in World War I with the 192nd Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force, and was always considered a close friend of the white settlers. Chief Little Plume spent most of his life in Brocket and died in 1971. |
