Lochend
Category : Locality | |
The descriptive name for this former locality refers to its position: it is located at the end of the lake (loch). There are six Lochends in Scotland and the first postmaster, J.K. Laidlaw, suggested the name. The post office operated here from 1 June 1905 through 31 December 1929. |
