Basset Lake

The precise origin of the name of this lake is unknown. It may have been known originally as Rainbow Lake, named after Rainbow Fournier, a trapper in the area. The name "Rainbow" was eventually applied to a lake 24 kilometres to the west.

Approximately 55 km east south-east of Rainbow Lake.
