Carson Lake

The feature took this name some time before the 1940s for it is the source of Carson Creek. However, at the request of local residents, the name of this lake, and one to the north-east, were changed in 1986 to reflect local and historical usage. (see also Carson Creek, McLeod Lake and Little McLeod Lake)

Approximately 16 km north north-east of Whitecourt.
