Old Woman Points

Another collection of distinctive points from the remarkable archaeological site at Head-Smashed-In- Buffalo Jump. These finely crafted points have very distinctive side notches for attachment to arrow shafts. Archaeologists call these Old Women's points after the buffalo jump where they were first discovered. Old Woman's points date from about 1400 years ago.
