Alberta Online Encyclopedia

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bilodeau The Heritage Community Foundation is proud to provide a dynamic platform to help make Alberta's history come alive for everyone! Explore aspects of Alberta's history through images, text and CKUA Radio Network's Heritage Trails. We hope that your experience fosters new understanding of the Alberta that was, a new appreciation for the Alberta that is, and optimism for the Alberta that will be.

Please join us here, in phase nine, as we examine the dynamics of the Francophone community in Alberta as well as the history of two of Alberta's French communities, St. Vincent and St. Paul. We hope that by learning more about the history and cultural identity of these two unique French communities and the people that have chosen to make them their home you will better understand how these communities have helped make Alberta into such a vibrant, culturally diverse province.
