Claim.—l. A split coupling having the vertical edges flanged, a tapered key adapted to engage with the said flanges to close the same together and lug means on the flanges designed to be bent over the key to prevent displacement.

2. In a wall casing, end sections provided with annular corrugations, a split coupling provided with annular corrugations, the corrugations of the coupling being designed to engage with corrugations of the end sections adjacent to the joint thereof, and the edges of the coupling being designed to engage with more remote corrugations on the end sections to prevent longitudinal displacement of the coupling and key means for closing the coupling on the sections.
