Description: Carl Bjornson, Sigfred Bjornson and Emit Bjornson, co-inventors, all of Bentley, Alberta, Canada, 9th December, 1924. Filed 19th June, 1923. Serial No. 278,143.

Claim.—1. A pipe wrench comprising a lower jaw formed integral with a handle, an oppositely disposed upper jaw with a shaft formed thereon lying adjacent the handle, a housing member pivoted upon the said handle, corrugations formed upon the back edge of the said shaft of the upper jaw, a horizontal bar across the back interiorly of the said housing to engage any of the corrugations and a spring member mounted between the upper surface of the said housing and the under side of the lower jaw, all substantially as and for the purposes described.
