Claim.——In combination with a pipe section made of sheet iron, tin or other flexible metal, the edges of which are adapted to be brought together to form a close or tight joint or seam by means of a folded or doubled edge with which the opposite edge is adapted to engage, a device for holding the said edges together or disengaging them composed of the parts b and c secured to the said pipe section near its opposite edges which said parts are adapted to engage with each other with the effect of a cam substantially as set forth.
