Shut-off for Water Pipes (Patent No: 104759)

Claim.—1. A stop box cover for a water shut-off mechanism provided with an upwardly extended pipe comprising a cap provided with a central orifice into which the upper extremity of the pipe has a threaded engagement, and a removable central stopper to close said orifice haying a threaded engagement with the cap above the adjacent extremity of the pipe, said stopper provided with means whereby it may be actuated, said orifice opening into said pipe when said stopper is removed.

2. A stop box cover for a water shut-off mechanism provided with an upwardly extended pipe comprising a cap provided with a central orifice into which the upper extremity of the pipe has a threaded engagement, and a removable central stopper to close said orifice having a threaded engagement with the cap above the adjacent extremity of the pipe, said stopper provided with a slot or recess upon its upper surface whereby the stopper may be actuated, said orifice opening into said pipe when said stopper is removed.

3. A stop box cover for a water shut-off mechanism provided with an upwardly extended pipe comprising a cap provided with a central orifice into which the upper extremity of the pipe has a threaded engagement, and a removable central stopper to close said orifice having a threaded engagement with the cap above the adjacent extremity of the pipe, said stopper provided with a slot or recess upon its upper surface whereby the stopper may be actuated, said orifice opening into said pipe when said stopper is removed, said stopper countersunk into saild cap when in place, whereby the upper surface of the stopper is flush with the upper surface of the cap.

4. A stop box cover for a water shut-off mechanism provided with an upwardly extended pipe comprising a cap provided with a central downwardly projecting stem and a central orifice extending through the stem. a removable stopper threaded into said cap to close said opening, said pipe having a threaded engagement with said stem below said stopper, said stopper provided with means whereby it may be actuated, said orifice opening into said pipe when said stopper is removed.
