Claim.–1. A churn, constructed and operating, substantially set forth.

2. A churn comprising a cylindrical body composed of a lower or box portion and an upper portion fitted to the lower portion by means of hinges, a series of vanes fitted on an axle rotating in the cylindrical body of the churn, the said axle being actuated by a handle connected with suitable gearing, substantially as set forth.

3. A churn of the class specified provided with a window for gauging the condition of the contents of the churn.

4. In a churn of the class specified the particular method of mounting the shaft carrying the vanes herein described and shown on the accompanying drawings.

5. A churn of the class specified having the stand or frame provided with stays, for the purpose set forth.

6. A churn of the class specified provided with an air inlet valve, substantially as set forth.
