Description:
WHAT I CLAIM AS MYINVENTION IS:

1. A horse's hitch or equalizer comprising a tug pivotally connected to a hame, an enlarged end formed integral with the tug, the enlarged end being provided with an upper slot adapted to engage a back band, and a lower slot designed to engage a belly band, a member rivited at one end to the tug and bent so as to extend parallel to the tug, a curved arm having one end projecting betweeen the said member and the enlarged end of the tug and pivotally secured thereto, the curved arm being provided with orifices, as and for the purpose specified.

2. The horse's hitch or equalizer claimed in Claim 1, in which the lower extremity of the enlarged end of the tug is slightly curved inwardly.

3. The horse's hitch or equalizer claimed in Claim 1, in which the tug is provided on the inward side thereof with a lining of leather.

4. The horse's hitch claimed in Claim 1, in which the hame is provided with a ring and a strap carried by the ring and adapted to support a trace hitched to the tug of a front team and to one of the orifices in the curved member.
