Claim.—l. A cattle guard comprising in combination with an angle plate of inverted V-shape, fastened to the ties, of a plurality of plates angularly in cross section having a portion extending parallel to its adjacent plate, and reinforcing means on the ties to support said plates in angular position.
2. The cattle guard claimed in claim 1, in which the said reinforcing means consists of a plate member having its sides upwardly disposed, so as to engage the under face of one angular plate and the upper face of the adjacent plate.
5. A cattle guard comprising in combination with angle plates, of inverted V-shape positioned on ties in spaced relation, of a plurality of plates angular in cross section located between the said V-shaped plates, said angular plates each having a portion extending parallel to its adjacent plate, a flange on each angular plate, each engaging a tie, reinforcing members on the ties to support said plates in angular position, and filling of suitable material between the ties and beneath the plates to support the same.
