Description:
WHAT I CLAIM AS MY INVENTION IS:-

1. The combination in a portable lawn table of the type described of a single member table-top supporting post, a circular inverted cup-shaped base plate supporting the said post, and a spike projecting downwards from and concentrically with the said base plate for penetration into the ground, means thus being provided for steadying the table by forcing the said spike into the ground.

2. The combination in a portable lawn table of the type described of a single member table-top supporting post, a circular inverted cup-shaped base plate supporting the said post, a tapered spike with tapering fluted facets projecting downwards from and concentrically with the said base plate for penetration into the ground, means thus being provided for steadying the table by forcing the said spike into the ground, a pointed projection from the top of the said spike, and suitable means together with the said pointed projection to connect the said post, base plate, and spike either by screwing or by driving or nailing together.
