Claim.—1. A hoe of the character set forth having a blade shaped to provide an inner concave surface, an outer convex surface and wings at the extremities of the blade.

2. A hoe of the character set forth having a blade shaped to provide an inner concave surface, an outer convex surface, wings at the extremities of the blade, shanks secured to said blade, a plate pivotally disposed between said shanks and means to adjust said plate in relation to said shank.

3. A hoe of the character set forth having a blade shaped to provide an inner concave surface, an outer convex surface, wings at the extremities of the blade, shanks secured to said blades, a plate pivotally disposed between said shanks, said plate formed with a radially disposed slot, a bolt through the slot for adjustably securing the plate to the slot, a wing nut engageable on the free extremity of the bolt and a ferrule integrally formed with said plate for securing a handle.
