Claim.—1. A ventilating device for vehicles, the combination of an air intake comprising a tubular conduit leading from the engine hood to the interior of the vehicle body beneath the dash panel, an air outlet comprising a tubular conduit from the rear portion of the floor which communicate with a tube disposed beneath the chassis of the vehicle, and means to control the air intake and the column of air which flows through the air outlet.

2. A ventilating device for vehicles, the combination of an air intake comprising a tubular conduit leading from the hood of a vehicle to the vehicle body beneath the dash panel, a ventilator flap adjustable at the orifice of the conduit and an air outlet comprising a conduit from the floor of the vehicle body and communicating with a tube disposed beneath the vehicle chassis in alignment with the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, a valve located in the tube to control the passage of air therethrough, and an air filter disposed in the air inlet conduit.

3. A ventilating device for vehicles, the combination of an air intake consisting of a tubular conduit leading from the hood of a vehicle to the vehicle body beneath the dash panel, a ventilator flap adjustable at the orifice of the conduit, a. perforated bulbous casing at the inner extremity of the conduit and a treated sponge in the bulbous casing and an air outlet consisting of a perforated plate at the rear portion of the vehicle floor, a conduit leading from the perforated plate to a tube disposed in alignment with the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and a valve in the said tube.

4. A ventilating device for vehicles as claimed in claim 3, characterized by the fact that the bulbous extremity of the air inlet conduit is sectional so that entrance is easily obtained for the replacement of the treated sponge.
