Claim.—1. A domestic animal weaning device comprising tubes disposed on each side of the head of the animal, a nose piece extending over the nose of the animal between said tubes, a shock producing mechanism having shock transmitting terminals, said mechanism being disposed in said tubes and nose piece with the nose piece carrying said terminals.

2. A domestic animal weaning device as claimed in claim 1, in which a collapsible container is mounted on the nose piece, said terminals being mounted on the container end in which said mechanism includes a spring switch disposed within said container, said switch being so constructed and arranged to close when the container is caused to collapse.
