Description: Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new and wish to secure by letters patent is:

1. A chain puller including a pulley block; a chain wheel mounted axially in said pulley block; a chain dislodging member forming a part of or mounted on said pulley block; a pawl or other suitable means, adjustable to active position at which position the aforementioned chain wheel would be prevented from rotating in one direction; two levers, one on each side of chain wheel pivoted on a pin through axis of said wheel, each lever carrying pawls or suitable means of gripping said wheel for the purpose of causing said wheel to be rotated in one direction; suitable means by which aforementioned wheel gripping mechanism may be raised or released from wheel for the purpose of allowing said wheel to rotate in a reverse direction.
