Claim.—A tip of the class described comprising a body provided with a socket in one end and a recess in its opposite end, and having an opening communicating between the opposed ends of the socket and recess, a textile plug fitted within the recess, and a metallic shank disposed through the opening of the body and through the plug, the inner end of the shank being provided with a head overlying the inner end of the socket.

A tip of the class described comprising a body having one end concave, said end being provided with a recess, the opposite end of the body being provided with a socket, said body having an opening communicating between the opposed ends of the socket and recess, a plug fitting within the recess, and a metallic shank disposed through the opening of the body and through the plug, the inner end of the shank being provided with a head overlying the inner end of the socket.

3. A tip of the class described comiprising a body havmg one end concave, said end being provided with a recess, the opposite end of the body being provided with a socket, said body having an opening communicating between the opposed ends of the socket and recess, a plug fitting within the recess, and a metallic shank disposed through the opening of the body and through the plug, the inner end of the shank being provided with a head overlying the inner end of the socket, the concave end of the body being provided with a groove substantially concentric to the recess.
