Claim.—1. In an apparatus of the character described, a spout having a base which attaches rigidly to an oil receptacle. a close fitting lining rotatably mounted within the base and rigidly attached to a spout, the base and lining being provided with an orifice or orifices similar in number and approximately similar in size, shape and position, and means of bringing the said orifices into and out of juxtaposition, all substantially as described.

2. In an apparatus of the character described a spout having a base which rigidly attaches to an oil receptacle, a close fitting lining rotatably mounted within the base and rigidly attached to a spout, the base and lining being provided with an orifice or orifices similar in number and approximately similar in size, shape and position, a slotted plate rigidly mounted on the spout at a point immediately above the upper edge of the base and enclosing a spring one end of which spring is attached to the lining and the other passes through an orifice in the base engaging in slots in the aforesaid plate to retain the spout in the desired position in its relation with the base, thereby bring the said orifices into and out of juxtaposition as desired, all substantially as described.
