Claim.—1. In an automobile wheel, a felloe having an upwardly extending flange at its inner edge, tire rim portions adapted to fit around the felloe, means for holding the tire rim portions at a definite distance apart when on the felloe, and means for locking the rim portions from outward movement from the felloe.

2. In an automobile wheel, the combination with the felloe having an outwardly extending inwardly inclined flange at its inner edge. tire rim portions having inwardly inclined side flanges adapted to fit around the felloe and against the inwardly inclined flange thereof, an annular plate member having an inwardly inclined outer portion adapted to fit against the outer flange portions of the rim portions, means for spacing the rim portions apart upon the wheel felloe, and means for detachable securing the annular plate to the felloe.

3. In an automobile wheel, the combination with the felloe having an outwardly extending inwardly inclined flange at its inner edge and inwardly extending segmental lug portions extending from the outer edge of the felloe, segmental tire rim portion adapted to fit around the felloe and to be spaced apart, an annular plate member having an inwardly inclined outer flange portion adapted to fit against the flange portions of the tire rim, and hook members extending inwardly from the inner edge of the annular plate adapted to engage the inwardly extending segmental lug portions of the felloe, means for limiting the turning movement of the plate in one direction, and locking means for preventing' the return movement of the plate in the opposite direction.
