Description:


The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows:


1. In a dryer, an enclosure having an open top and a hinged lid therefor, a plurality of spaced substantially parallel rods fitted removably in the enclosure near the open top for hanging material to be dried in the enclosure, an air intake positioned at one end of the enclosure adjacent the bottom of the enclosure, such air intake including means to heat the air passing through the air intake, an air outlet in the end of the enclosure above the air intake and an air deflector positioned over the air intake to take in air at least half way up the end of the enclosure and to direct such air to the air intake and a deflection hood over the air outlet positioned to direct air exhausted from the air outlet back to the air intake.


2. The clothes dryer as claimed in Claim 1 wherein the sides and ends of the enclosure are hinged to permit inward folding of the sides and ends to reduce the height of the enclosure for storage.
