Description: Clarence S. Baird, Twin Butte, Alberta, Canada, 23rd January. 1923. Filed 13th January, 1922, Receipt No. 368,552.

Claim.—1. A new article of manufacture, the herein described lens remover for automobile lamps, comprising a ring adapted for connection to the lens-holding collar of the lamp and means for expanding the said ring and lens-holding collar.

2. The combination with an automobile lamp including the lens-holding collar, of a split ring member detachably mounted on said collar, brackets secured to the ends of said ring member, a bolt mounted in the said brackets and said ring member adapted to be expanded or contracted by said bolt for contracting and expanding said collar to hold the lens within the same and to release the said lens.

3. The combination with a lamp having a split lens-holding collar, of a split ring member mounted on said collar, brackets secured to the ends of said ring member, a bolt mounted in said brackets and said .bolt adapted for adjustment to contract and expand the said ring and collar members.
