Claim.—1. An expansion steam trap comprising a frame, an expansion pipe secured at one end to said frame, a steam supply pipe connected with said tube, a valve having a discharge aperture connected to the free end of said tube, a valve stem slidably secured to said frame, and means actuated by the expansion and contraction of said tube for operating said valve.

2. An expansion steam trap comprising a series of condensation coils, an expansion pipe connected to said coils, a frame secured to said pipe, said frame comprising a pair of crossheads connected by adjustable rods, a valve connected to said pipe having a discharge opening therein, a valve stem slidably mounted within one of the crossheads, and means actuated by the expansion and contraction of said pipe for opening and closing the valve.
