Claim.—1. In a slip holder the combination with a base, of a bail-shaped clamp wire journalled to said base, cam-shaped hinge feet on said clamp wire, plate springs riveted to said base and covering said cam feet and each having a shoulder against which the leg of the clamp wire may abut, and a strap secured to the clamp wire and passing at a distance from its fastenings through said base, substantially as set forth.
2. In a slip holder the combination with a base of two bail-shaped clamp wires journalled to said base, cam-shaped feet on said clamp wires, plate springs covering the said feet having one end at least slotted to allow it to slide on the rivets and provided with a shoulder as a limiting stop for the clamp wire when raised, and a strap passing through a slot in and near the bottom of the base and having its ends secured to the clamp wires, substantially as set forth.
3. In a slip holder the combination of a base, a bail-shaped clamp wire journalled to said base, cam-shaped feet on said clamp wire, plate springs covering said feet pivoted to said base one end slidingly, a shoulder on each of the springs adjacent to the legs of the clamp wire and acting as a limiting stop for the same, substantially as set forth.
