Description: CLAIMS:-

1. In an adjustable wrench of the type described, comprising a stationary jaw formed on a shank, having a plurality of transverse teeth on the inner edge thereof, a movable jaw formed on a shorter shank, having a plurality of transverse teeth on the inner edge thereof, a movable jaw formed on a shorter shank pivotally mounted on a holder, said holder being slidable on said shank, said shorter shank being curved downward and inward to a rear base, said base having a plurality of transverse teeth therein arranged to engage the teeth of the first mentioned shank.
2. In an adjustable wrench of the type described, comprising a stationary jaw formed on a shank, having a plurality of transverse teeth on the inner edge thereof, a movable jaw formed on a shorter shank pivotally mounted on a holder, said holder being slidable on said shank, said shorter shank being curved downward and inward to a rear base, said base having a plurality of transverse teeth therein arranged to engage the teeth of the first mentioned shank, and a flat spring secured to the said holder at its fixed end, and the free end thereof engaging the said shorter shank base in a manner to yieldably hold the teeth thereof in engagement with the teeth of the aforesaid shank, substantially as set forth.
