1. A frost shield assembly for automobile windows and the like, comprising in combination with an associated window, rubber moulding and frame therefor, a transparent frost shield, a frame surrounding the perimeter of said shield, the size and configuration of said shield substantially equalling the size and configuration of the associated window, and means to secure said frost shield frame against said window frame, said means consisting of a clincher strip spanning said frost shield frame and said window frame and extending around the perimeters thereof.
2. A frost shield assembly for automobile windows and the like, comprising in combination with an associated window, rubber moulding and frame therefor, a transparent frost shield, a frame surrounding the perimeter of said shield, a wire bead secured to said frost shield frame and surrounding said frost shield to retain same within said frame thereof, the size and configuration of said shield substantially equalling the size and configuration of said window, means to secure said frost shield frame against said window frame, said means consisting of a clincher strip spanning said frost shield frame and said window frame and extending around the perimeters thereof, and a continuous resilient buffer strip between said frost shield and the associated window adjacent the perimeter of the former.

A frost shield assembly for automobile windows and the like, comprising in combination with an associated pivoting window and frame therefor, a transparent frost shield, a frame surrounding the perimeter of said shield, the size and configuration of said shield substantially equalling the size and configuration of the associated window, and means to secure said frost shield frame against said window frame, said means consisting of an intermittent resilient clincher strip forming part of said frost shield frame, said clincher strip being of semi-circular cross-sectional configuration, said clincher strip embracing said window frame.

A frost shield assembly for automobile windows and the like, comprising in combination with an associated window, rubber moulding, and frame therefor, a transparent frost shield, a frame surrounding the perimeter of said shield, said frame including an internal channel portion within which said frost shield registers and a planar flange portion extending outwardly from said parallel portion, the size and configuration of said frost shield substantially equalling the size and configuration of said window, and means to secure said flange portion of said frost shield frame against said rubber moulding, said means consisting of a clincher strip spanning said frost shield frame and said window frame and extending around the perimeters thereof.
