Description: The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed or defined as follows:

1. A luggage carrier for automotive vehicles comprising a totally enclosed container in the shape of a lifting airfoil; means for fixing such luggage carrier in lifting airfoil position to the top of an automotive vehicle.

2. A luggage carrier as claimed in Claim 1 in which there is provided access means in the form of a hinged doorway in the side of the luggage carrier.
