A cultivating tool comprising in combination a set of parallel and horizontal beams parallel to the direction of their travel, a rearwardly and downwardly curving portion on the rear end of each beam, a forwardly and downwardly projecting share secured to the lower end of said curving portion, at least two adjacent curving portions in said set being in oblique, side-by-side alignment with respect to a horizontal line normal to the direction of travel of the set, said shares being attached to the lower ends of said curving portions in over-lapping relationship, the share on the leading curving portion of said tool projecting further forwardly and downwardly than the share on the adjacent curving portion.
