Description: Alfred A. Conway, Loyalist, Alberta, Canada, 14th June, 1927. Filed 31st August, 1926. Serial No. 317,000.

Claim.—1. A terminal comprising a yieldable base, an inner and an outer casing secured to the base, said inner and outer casing having a slot in the aide thereof, a plunger slidably mounted in said inner casing, said plunger having a transverse slot therein, and a cap secured to said plunger at the outer end thereof, said cap also being adapted to fit over the outer end of said outer casing.

2. A terminal comprising a base having a yieldable ball head. A casing adapted to be detachably mounted on said base. A plunger slidably mounted in said casing. Stop means for determining the movement of said plunger, an insulating shell surrounding said casing, and an insulating cap mounted on said plunger, said cap also being adapted to telescope said shell.

3. A terminal comprising a base having a yieldable ball head. A metallic casing having a groove in the inner power end thereof, said head being adapted to seat in said groove, a plunger loosely mounted in said casing a spring in said casing, said spring engaging the inner end of said plunger for urging the same outwardly, an insulating casing surrounding said metallic casing, said metallic and insulating casings having a transverse slot therein, said plunder having a transverse slot therein, an insulating cap for said plunger and stop means for determining the movement of the plunger.
